About this charity
Save the Children aim to ensure that all children, regardless of gender, race, country of origin or religious belief have the means for survival, receive protection and have access to nutrition, primary health care and basic education.
Guided by this vision, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Save the Children work towards:
- Improving child health and preventing avoidable illnesses;
- creating greater access to quality education and safe learning environments;
- protecting children from abuse and exploitation; and
- reducing children's vulnerability to natural disasters and the impacts of climate change
By providing health, education, protection and support services, Save the Children give a powerful voice to children and champions their rights.
